Key tasks include:

• Safety and production
• Planning and Leading
• Directing and Controlling of Mining operations to obtain a maximum output in production
• Ensure misconduct within the workplace is monitored, maintained, and reported to HR
• Ensure that employees are trained, and guidance given where necessary to address performance issues
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
• Helping the team understand performance targets and goals
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Execute project plans as agreed and manage this process in totality
• Identify and manage potential areas that could influence production output
• Manage and oversee project schedules and project control budgets
• Communicate all areas of concern to the Site Manager
• Identify and manage potential areas that could influence production output
• Prepare appropriate reports and disseminate the reports
• Manage and communicate project progress with Managing Director daily, weekly and monthly
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Legal Liability
• First Aid
• Fire Fighting
• A3/A2
• Competency Certificates
